How the anti-ban protection works
Earlier modded clients were detected because they identified themselves differently from the official app during the connection handshake. The v18.80 build reworks that layer so the client behaves like a standard WhatsApp install, which is why ban reports have dropped sharply on the latest version.
That said, no modified app can offer a guarantee, and we will not claim one. The safest approach — especially for a number you cannot afford to lose — is to run GB WhatsApp on a secondary number and always stay on the newest build. Older versions lose protection over time as detection updates roll out.
